More updates for Club Penguin!

Sorry I haven't updated in a while, but I wanted to show you.....

New Club Penguin Featured Igloo Coco28915

.....THIS AWESOME NEW FEATURED IGLOO THAT I FOUND TODAY!!!

If it's blurry, sorry, but I also want to show you.....

.....THIS COOL NEW HOME PAGE!!! It has the Team Red and Team Blue members probably because of the new play. Herbert is there because he's now attacking. (His attack might have something to do with the Lighthouse, but he failed at his attempt to destroy the Ski Lodge, so, who knows?) And, there are a ton of mascots, including G, probably for the new party and Herbert's attack.

Herbert is also attacking the EPF again! Member agents, battle Herbert once and for all and earn the new 'Track Herbert' Stamp!

New Club Penguin 2011 System Defender Track Herbert Stamp

Hey! Here's a cool preview: In the pictures to the side, you see that there is three, though the last picture space says 16, though there are 14 at the moment. When there are 2 more stamps, this is what the last picture will be:

Here is the new start screen for the game:

I tried to beat the "Track Herbert" level, but it's even harder than Protobot!

Rockhopper Spotted for Island Adventure

Penguins, take a visit to the Beacon! For those pirates that are excited for the Island Adventure party (and, more importantly, finding Rockhopper), you don't have to wait long! Rockhopper has been spotted at the Beacon's Telescope. Here is how close he is at the moment:

Well, I can't wait for Rockhopper's arrival on Club Penguin. I haven't earned his stamp or ANY of his backgrounds!

Have YOU met Rockhopper before? Please tell me with a comment!

Awareness for Rareness!--part 1

Ever wanted to know the rarest of some things on Club Penguin? Well you have good luck today because I know a ton of rareness!

PINS:

The rarest pin on CP is the Shamrock Pin, released on March 17 of 2006, and taken away on March 31, 2006, located in the Coffee Shop.

Thumbnail for version as of 21:28, 9 November 2010

The Golden Wheel Pin was received by completing the 'Save the Migrator' Aqua Grabber level. It was released on February 19, 2008.

Thumbnail for version as of 22:23, 9 November 2010

The Yellow Balloon, Cotton Candy, Circus Tent, and Popcorn pins had to be purchased with 100/50 Tickets in the Fall Fair, which gives them a pretty good rarity.

CLOTHES:

The Beta Hat was released before CP was even officially released. Players earned it in the Beta Party. It was in a box in the Town.

                                                        PartyHat.png

The Red Construction Helmet was found in the C.P.I.P.(Club Penguin Improvement Project). It was given to penguins who logged in on May 30th.

The Red/Hawaiian Lei was found in the Winter Luau 2006. This Neck Item is rare because it was only 3 months after CP was released.

BACKGROUNDS:

Rookie's background is extremely rare, because he is a new CP Mascot. He also only appeared in the April Fool's Party of 2011.

Aunt Arctic's background is rare, because she was only sighted 3 times. Being found only so far in the Penguin Play Awards 2009 and 2010, and the Holiday Party 2009, few penguins have her background.

                                  AuntArctic'sAutograph-Full.png

Sensei's background is rare too. Being sighted 4 times (Sensei's Scavenger Hunt, Celebration of Fire, Water Scavenger Hunt, Water Celebration), it is hard to earn the background.

                                  SenseisAutograph.PNG

This background is little rare. It is the Phoenix Queen's background, and it only comes when the Secrets of the Bamboo Forest comes to the Stage. You need the Feather pin that is around CP to get the background.

                                 Phoenix2.PNG

Like the Phoenix Queen background, this background is a little rare too. It is the Noir Background, found at the Ruby and the Ruby play. At the back of the catalog, simply pull down the section that says "How do I get coins?" and you should see the Noir Background.

                                Noirbg.png

The Hydro Hopper Background is a rare background. This 51st background shows your penguin playing Hydro Hopper. All penguins can buy it in the Penguin Style Catalog for 60 coins

STAMPS:

Like his background, Rookie's Stamp is also rare. The last time it could've been gained was the April Fool's Party 2011.

                                    Rookie Stamp.PNG

The Treasure Hunt Stamps are rare also, because they are only available when Rockhopper visits. Treasure Hunt can be found in Rockhopper's Captain's Quarters.

The Celebration Party Stamp is very rare, because you need to blow out the candles on the Anniversary Cake when the Anniversary party comes. Because this is only a 2-day party, it is extremely hard to get.

So do you like this Rareness post?

                                                                                                                            TO BE CONTINUED...

Penguin Band Changes Their Look!

As you know, the Penguin Band has been changing their look often.  In the latest edition of The Club Penguin Times (I keep forgetting to post about it), it shows that the penguin band changes their outfit from:

to:

Here are their new player cards:

These are their old ones:

Billybob also shows how they change their look:

Billybob gives a couple more posts on the Whats New blog!

On the Whats New blog, Billybob talks about the 'Puffle Improvement Update'. You may have noticed that the CP Team has updated puffles recently.

blog_110609.jpg

In case you missed it, here are a few things they updated last week:
  • New ways to play with your pet... You can now poke, pet or even tickle your puffles!
  • New puffle mats in the Pet Shop. Now the carpet in the middle of the room looks different depending on which puffle is walking with you!
  • Puffle close-ups load faster
  • Small interface improvements in puffle close-ups

They're putting finishing touches on stuff for June! These photos give a sneak peek:

blog_110608.png

(The right photo is the Penguin Band, the top is the Dojo, and the left is a speaker for the Music Jam.)

Also, here are some dates you should try to remember:

  • June 9: New igloo item catalog

  • June 16: Music Jam = party time!

  • June 23: New member ninja items at the Ninja Hideout

  • and more...

  • So what are you excited for this month? Guess what's in each picture.

Also, he says that there is a 'Neck Item Bug Update'. He says that when you wear some neck items (Neon Electro Hoodie, Striped Skater Threads, Layered Bubblegun Look, Rhythm & Purple Blues, One Man Band), you get a 72 hour ban. Luckily, it has been fixed!

And finally, he talks about 'CP History: Penguin Band'.

Great guesses on this week's sneak peek blog post! Quite a few of you guessed that the big picture was the Penguin Band... You were right!

The Penguin Band has changed their look a few times since the beginning of Club Penguin. They first appeared in Penguin Chat 3 back in 2005. Back then, all the members were blue, and they played different instruments:

penguinband_pc2.jpgThe group first appeared in Club Penguin in 2006, with different colors and instruments. First they were a Hawaiian band:

blog_110610_b.jpgThen they were a country band:

blog_110610_c.jpgThis year, the Penguin Band is a bit more modern. We were inspired by all the different bands we've seen around the island. We wanted the Penguin Band to have their own unique musical style, just like you! Now the band is into more than just country -- they're also into rock, alternative and electronic music.

Many bands like to change their style every few years. Who knows? Maybe Penguin Band will change their look again in the future...

What musical style do you like best? Tell us about your favorite in the comments!  And, tell what you like about all his posts!

Herbert (mascot version) Tips on finding!

Here are some tips to finding CP mascots!

First, CP's newest mascot, Herbert P. Bear.

Sadly, Herbert does not have a player card.

Here are tips to finding him:

#1:Herbert usually logs into the crowded servers during peak hours of the day. Herbert visits the less crowded servers during hours when less penguins are online.

#2:Herbert only logs on during special occasions.

#3: If you happen to find him,  click on him (which will be hard, as he is always crowded) or click on him in the room list. Then click on the gift box to get a special background.

#4:Herbert usually logs into the crowded servers during peak hours of the day. Herbert visits the less crowded servers during hours when less penguins are online.

#5:Herbert is most commonly seen on Mammoth, Blizzard, and Frozen. Check these servers first. Herbert most commonly is found in exclusive party rooms including the secret lab, and the tallest mountain.

#6: Herbert is Club Penguin’s greatest villain. He is a white polar bear, and often is with his sidekick in crime, Klutzy the crab.

#7: Herbert changes servers every 15 minutes. This means you will have to find Herbert fast and check this site for updates.

#8: Finding Herbert and other mascots takes a lot of patience. Check my site and with some time you will find Herbert. Herbert may be on multiple servers at the same time.

#9: If you do find Herbert, leave a comment here (any post is ok) so I can post it.

    Waddle on!!

    CP Login Page Newly Updated!!

Today, I noticed a change to the login page on CP. It now has newer penguins and different buttons! Take a look or use this link to see it on CP:

What do you think of this new update? CP really should have added this earlier. Comment below on what you think of this!

    3 New EPF Messages--Rookie and G

Gary and Rookie sent us messages through our spy phones

First, Rookie. He tells the Comm Agents to think of ways to stop Herbert.

Okay Comm Agents, it's up to us to convince Herbert to stop! Try talking to him. Tell him jokes! Give him a tour- anything! We can DO this!

Next is G's first. He tells the Tech agents to not use cannons-instead use snowballs.

Tech Agents - defense cannons are too dangerous. Focus on snowball combat. Keep the Cauldron 3000 working: it's vital for the blue Hydra.

Finally, G's last one. He tells agents to meet at the Phoning Facility.

RED ALERT! All agents report to the Everyday Phoning Facility immediately! We are under attack! This is not a drill!
Wow, Herbert is really attacking so much, we need 3 messages in 1 day!
